Description
Machined from domestic 6061 T6 extruded aluminum, this scope mount features a matte black finish. Hardware, including hex head screws and a wrench, is provided for easy installation. With a center spread of 3.242″ and an overall length of 6.670″, this mount is specifically designed for the Remington 783 Short Action. This base is available in both 0 and 20 MOA options; please refer to our FAQ page for detailed information on MOA. The strategically designed channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, weighing in at an average of 2-3 oz. Furthermore, in many cases, it will not obstruct the usage of factory iron sights.
EGW’s one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for discerning hunters and tactical shooters alike. Enhance your setup by adding EGW’s Practical or HD scope rings for a complete overhaul! The mount is available in a standard matte black. Custom silver anodizing is available upon request for an additional charge of $15, though please note there is a 3-month lead time associated with silver anodizing. This mount features a Picatinny-style base, making it compatible with both Picatinny and Weaver scope rings. For installation, EGW recommends applying 20 inch-lbs of torque along with a drip of blue thread locker (sold separately).
